The Frostfire Mine is a competitive solo event in Whiteout Survival where you battle for Orichalcum, a rare metal that grants valuable rewards. You’ll have 30 minutes to capture mines, defeat patrols, unlock Frostfire Skills, and climb the leaderboard.

The event has no allies, even your alliance members become your enemies. Smart positioning, skill upgrades, and timing Outburst Veins are key to scoring high without necessarily being the strongest player.

What is the Frostfire Mine?

The Frostfire Mine is a unique PvP mining event similar to the Foundry Battle, but with one major twist: it’s everyone for themselves.

✅ You’ll mine Orichalcum to earn points.
✅ You’ll face all players as enemies (even your allies).
✅ The goal is to score as many points as possible within 30 minutes.

The higher your rank, the better the rewards: exclusive avatar frames, charm designs, charm guides, gems, and resources to boost your Chief’s power.

Requirements & Registration

  • ✅ Furnace level 16+ required

  • ✅ Register and fight on the same day

  • ✅ Choose from 6 time slots (4 hours apart)

📍 Map Layout

When you join, you’ll be randomly placed on a circular map divided into three rings:

Scattered across the map are Mine Patrols, NPC units that drop Frostfire XP for skill upgrades.

Mine Patrols are NPC units scattered across the map. Defeating them gives Frostfire XP, which you need to unlock powerful skills.

  • Level 1 Patrols → 75 XP

  • Level 2 Patrols → 150 XP

To fully unlock all skills, you need 5,400 XP:

  • That’s 72 Level 1 Patrols or 36 Level 2 Patrols

💡 Tip: In the early minutes, prioritize clustered Level 2 Patrols to level up faster.

Frostfire Skills

The Frostfire Skill Tree boosts your performance in the event.

There are two main playstyles:

  • Defensive → Green + Blue path

  • Aggressive → Red + Blue path

⚠️ Important: You cannot reset your skill choices, so pick carefully.

Best skill path for beginners:

Right → Right → Left → Left → Right

This path quickly unlocks the first three skills, giving you a better start before mining.

Event Timeline (30 minutes)

The event is split into key phases:

  1. First 5 minutes

    • Lower-power players can sneak and steal Level 2–3 mines while the strong fight for the Smelter

    • March Speed buffs

    • Troop capacity buffs

    • Match buffs with your skill path for max efficiency

  3. Teleport Smartly

    • Use free teleport for repositioning

    • Advanced teleports increase in cost after each use

  4. Capture and Loot Quickly

    • Each captured mine drops bonus Orichalcum loot

    • Send a dedicated march to grab it fast

  5. Play Smart if You’re Weak

    • Let strong players fight for the Smelter

    • Focus on unattended mines

    • Hit-and-run strategy works well for survival

How to Maximize Rewards

  • Consistency > risk → Better to hold multiple small mines than waste time dying at the Smelter

  • Time Outbursts → They’re easy points in little time

  • Choose the right time slot → Less crowded slots = less competition

Quick Recap

✅ Mine Patrols → Skills → Veins → Outbursts → Smelter
✅ Early → farm XP
✅ Mid → mine Outbursts
✅ Late → either contest Smelter or sneak unguarded mines
✅ Buffs + extra marches = higher score
