⚔ State vs State (SvS) – Frequently Asked Questions
What is the State vs State (SvS) event in Whiteout Survival?
+
State vs State, also known as State of Power, is the largest monthly event in Whiteout Survival. Two states are matched to compete in preparation tasks and then battle for control of the Sunfire Castle. Winners can earn exclusive rewards and the prestigious Supreme President title.
How does the matchmaking work?
+
Matchmaking lasts 2 days. On the first day, the game pairs states based on the combined power of their top 100 chiefs. On the second day, you can see which state you’ll be facing and prepare your strategy accordingly.
What are the phases of the SvS event?
+
SvS has 4 phases:
✅ Matchmaking Phase – 2 days for pairing opponents
✅ Preparation Phase – 5 days of daily tasks to earn points
✅ Battle Phase – 8 hours of direct combat for Sunfire Castle
✅ Field Triage – recover lost troops and claim rewards
How do I score points in the Preparation Phase?
+
Each of the 5 days has specific tasks:
➡ Day 1: Fire Crystal upgrades & Chief Charms
➡ Day 2: Lucky Wheel spins & Hero upgrades
➡ Day 3: Alliance rallies, Beast hunts & Pet Refinement
➡ Day 4: Troop Training & Promotion
➡ Day 5: All tasks combined – Pets, Gear, Fire Crystal & Refinement
Completing milestones helps your state gain total points and determine who will attack or defend during the Battle Phase.
What happens if my state loses the Preparation Phase?
+
If your state loses, you’ll be the defender in the Battle Phase, making it harder to hold Sunfire Castle. Winners of the Preparation Phase gain advantages like faster healing and enlistment boosts.
What is the Battle Phase and how do you win?
+
The Battle Phase lasts 8 hours. Alliances fight for control of Sunfire Castle and surrounding turrets. To win:
✅ Hold the Castle for 4 continuous hours
✅ Or have the longest total occupation time after 8 hours
The attacking state has an advantage, so winning Preparation Phase is key.
Can I teleport anywhere in the opponent’s state?
+
Yes. During the Battle Phase you can teleport anywhere on the enemy map regardless of who controls the area. But you can only attack chiefs within ±3 Furnace levels of your own.
Do I lose troops permanently in SvS?
+
No. 90% of lost troops are recovered through the Field Triage Phase. You can also use Revival Potions and alliance help to restore more troops.
What rewards can I get from SvS?
+
Rewards include gems, Sunfire tokens, Exclusive Gear materials, Chief Charm items, and server-wide buffs if your state wins. The winning alliance leader can also appoint a Supreme President with enhanced buff powers.
What’s the best way for free-to-play players to help?
+
Focus on completing milestone points each day, join alliance rallies, train troops on Day 4, and contribute during the Castle fight. Even if you’re not a top power player, every point helps your state win the Preparation Phase.
