Whiteout Survival Pets Tier List — Updated Ranking of the Best Companions

Pets are one of the most powerful tools to enhance your heroes' and troops' performance in Whiteout Survival. They not only accompany your journey but also provide direct bonuses to key attributes in the game — such as lethality, health, attack, and defense — for each troop type: infantry, marksman, and lancer.

In addition to their attributes, each pet also features a unique skill that offers special advantages during battles or daily progression — such as Chief stamina restoration, delivery of rare resources, construction speed-ups, and other useful effects.

Pets are unlocked gradually based on the age of the server. Each new generation becomes available after a certain number of days and requires specific pets from previous generations to be evolved to a certain level.

Below, you’ll find an updated Tier List ranking pets from the strongest (S Tier) to the least impactful (C Tier), based on their contribution to troop stats and the strategic value of their skills.

The S Tier includes the most powerful and versatile pets in Whiteout Survival. These companions offer top-tier attribute boosts like attack, health, and lethality — all of which have major impact on combat performance. Their skills are consistently useful in both PvP and PvE scenarios, and they benefit all players regardless of their role. If you're building a long-term strategy, prioritizing pets in this tier is a must.

Cave Lion
Cave Lion Empowers your troops with higher attack damage
Earthbound Vigor
Feral Anthem
Effect: With its majestic aura, the Cave Lion's roar increases all troops' attack by 2.50% / 3.00% / 3.50% / 4.00% / 5.00% / 6.00% / 7.00% / 8.00% / 9.00% / 10.00% for 2 hours.
Cooldown: 20:00:00
This ferocious skill significantly boosts the offensive performance of your army, making the Cave Lion a strong asset for aggressive strategies. Among all troop attributes, **Attack** is considered one of the most decisive in both PvP and PvE scenarios, directly influencing the damage dealt in every battle. Because of its high impact and long duration, we classify the Cave Lion as a solid Tier S pet in Whiteout Survival.
Frost Gorilla
Frost Gorilla Boosts the health of all allied troops
Earthbound Vigor
Earthbound Vigor
Effect: Channeling a symbiotic bond with the earth, Troops Health is increased by 2.50% / 3.00% / 3.50% / 4.00% / 5.00% / 6.00% / 7.00% / 8.00% / 9.00% / 10.00% for 2 hours.
Cooldown: 20:00:00
A defensive powerhouse, Frost Gorilla greatly improves troop survivability with its health-boosting skill. While attack determines your damage output, staying alive is the first step to victory — and this pet excels at that. The extra health makes a huge difference in sustained battles, especially in PvP, rallies, and prolonged defense situations. For that reason, Frost Gorilla earns its place as a reliable and essential Tier S companion in Whiteout Survival.
Saber-Tooth Tiger
Saber-Tooth Tiger Improves your troops' lethality in combat
Apex Assault
Apex Assault
Effect: Elite predators join the ranks, increasing Troops Lethality by 2.50% / 3.00% / 3.50% / 4.00% / 5.00% / 6.00% / 7.00% / 8.00% / 9.00% / 10.00% for 2 hours.
Cooldown: 20:00:00
This deadly ability increases the chance of permanently eliminating enemy troops. Since lethality directly affects the outcome of battles, Saber-Tooth Tiger becomes a top-tier choice for those aiming to weaken opponents beyond recovery. Its strategic impact places it firmly among the S Tier pets.

Pets in the A Tier are strong and reliable, offering solid attribute boosts or useful skills. While they might not define battles on their own, they add valuable support to your formation. Many A-tier pets excel in versatility or provide niche advantages that become crucial in specific situations. They are excellent choices for mid-game players or as secondary pets in your formation.

Snow Ape
Snow Ape Boosts squad capacity for all troops
Tumbling Power
Tumbling Power
Effect: The Snow Ape boosts the entire army's morale, increasing Squad Capacity by 1,500 / 3,000 / 4,500 / 6,000 / 7,500 / 9,000 / 10,500 / 12,000 / 13,500 / 15,000 for 2 hours.
Cooldown: 20:00:00
This ability increases the number of troops each player can send, which is valuable in both PvP and PvE scenarios. Although the bonus is not as impactful as attack, health, or lethality, it is universally useful and benefits every march. For that reason, the Snow Ape earns a solid spot in Tier A — reliable and practical, though not game-breaking.
Mammoth
Mammoth Improves troop survivability with defensive buffs
Hardened Skin
Hardened Skin
Effect: The towering Mammoths act as shields, increasing Troops Defense by 2.50% / 3.00% / 3.50% / 4.00% / 5.00% / 6.00% / 7.00% / 8.00% / 9.00% / 10.00% for 2 hours.
Cooldown: 20:00:00
A sturdy skill that enhances troop survivability by increasing defense, making the Mammoth a decent support pet. While not as impactful as boosts to attack or lethality, defense still plays a role in reducing incoming damage. However, in Whiteout Survival's current meta, defense is generally considered less effective than health — since health increases total HP and scales better with other bonuses. For this reason, despite its solid skill, Mammoth is placed in Tier A.
Snow Leopard
Snow Leopard Reduces enemy lethality and boosts your march speed
Lightning Raid
Lightning Raid
Effect: Known for its speed, the Snow Leopard increases March Speed by 15.00% / 17.00% / 19.00% / 21.00% / 23.00% / 25.00% / 27.00% / 30.00% and reduces enemy Troops Lethality by 1.50% / 2.00% / 2.50% / 3.00% / 3.50% / 4.00% / 4.50% / 5.00% for 2 hours.
Cooldown: 20:00:00
An underrated but strategic choice, the Snow Leopard excels in countering stronger opponents. Its unique ability to reduce the enemy's lethality directly weakens their killing potential — a crucial advantage when facing high-level players with stronger armies. Since the debuff is percentage-based, its effect becomes even more valuable the stronger the enemy is. Combined with a high bonus to march speed, this pet is ideal for both escape tactics and aggressive raids, making it a solid A-tier pick for situational dominance.

Note: Some advanced players consider Snow Leopard nearly S-tier when used against stronger opponents, due to its scalable debuff effect.

The B Tier pets serve more situational or utility-based roles. While they might not enhance troop performance directly, their skills can assist with gathering, stamina management, or passive progression. These pets are great complements for casual players or during downtime, but they rarely shift the outcome of a battle. Use them when your top-tier pets are on cooldown or in support-focused strategies.

Iron Rhino
Iron Rhino Increases total rally capacity for all allies
Rallying Beasts
Rallying Beasts
Effect: Inspired by a rampaging herd, rally capacity is increased by 60,000 / 70,000 / 80,000 / 90,000 / 100,000 / 110,000 / 120,000 / 130,000 / 140,000 / 150,000 for 2 hours.
Cooldown: 20:00:00
While this skill grants a substantial boost to total rally capacity, its usefulness is limited to players who actually lead rallies. That said, for rally leaders, Rhino can be a game-changer — but for the average player, it won’t trigger at all. This situational nature justifies placing Rhino in the B Tier despite having a powerful effect.
Giant Tapir
Giant Tapir Provides instant Pet Food collection
Natural Intuition
Natural Intuition
Effect: Despite its docile appearance, the Giant Tapir's keen senses allow it to instantly locate 200 / 250 / 300 / 350 / 400 / 450 / 500 Pet Food.
Cooldown: 23:00:00
While it doesn't enhance your army directly, the Giant Tapir offers a valuable and often underestimated advantage: it provides Pet Food — a resource that remains crucial even in the late stages of the game. As players complete construction and accumulate abundant basic resources, the ability to accelerate pet development becomes more strategic. For this reason, the Giant Tapir now deserves a spot in Tier B.
Arctic Wolf
Arctic Wolf Restores Chief Stamina instantly
Arctic Embrace
Arctic Embrace
Effect: The Arctic Wolf’s comforting presence rejuvenates weary spirits, instantly restoring 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 Chief Stamina.
Cooldown: 23:00:00
This skill is a great quality-of-life boost, especially for free-to-play players and those who enjoy frequent monster hunting. While it doesn’t impact battle stats directly, stamina is a vital resource in Whiteout Survival. The Arctic Wolf helps you recover it faster, keeping your activity rate high. However, it’s best used as a secondary pet due to its narrow utility — making it a solid choice for Tier B.

C Tier pets offer minimal value in most combat or progression scenarios. Their abilities are often limited in duration, impact, or usefulness as the game progresses. While they might serve a purpose during early development or for collection purposes, investing heavily in these pets is usually not recommended. Prioritize leveling up stronger pets before allocating resources here.

Giant Elk
Giant Elk Searches the Tundra for lost treasures over time
Mystical Finding
Mystical Finding
Effect: Guided by its mystical intuition, the Giant Elk unearths an item lost on the Tundra.
Cooldown: 2d 03:00:00 / 1d 23:00:00 / 1d 19:00:00 / 1d 15:00:00 / 1d 11:00:00 / 1d 07:00:00 / 1d 03:00:00 / 23:00:00
While its ability is unique, granting random items over time, the Giant Elk lacks any direct combat utility. In practice, the rewards tend to be minimal, especially considering the investment required to level it up. For most players, this pet ends up being a poor return on investment — making it more of a novelty than a true asset. We’ve therefore ranked the Giant Elk in Tier C.
Titan Roc
Titan Roc Weakens enemy troops by reducing their health
Razorbeak
Razorbeak
Effect: The formidable Titan Roc's beak is indestructible, reducing enemy Health by 1.50% / 2.00% / 2.50% / 3.00% / 3.50% / 4.00% / 4.50% / 5.00% for 2 hours.
Cooldown: 20:00:00
Titan Roc’s ability can be situationally useful, especially when facing stronger opponents, as reducing the enemy's health percentage may slightly tip the balance. However, since it offers no direct advantage to your own troops and its impact is limited compared to other pets that boost attack or lethality, Titan Roc is not a recommended investment. That’s why we’ve placed it in Tier C.
Musk Ox
Musk Ox Instantly completes gathering on the next resource tile
Burden Bearer
Burden Bearer
Skill Effect: Harnessing the Musk Ox’s formidable strength and endurance, instantly complete the gathering upon reaching the next wilderness resources tile (excludes Secured Alliance Gathering Nodes).

Cooldown: 1d 11:00:00 / 1d 07:00:00 / 1d 03:00:00 / 23:00:00 / 19:00:00 / 15:00:00
Although it offers a unique utility by speeding up resource gathering, the Musk Ox quickly loses its value as players progress. In advanced stages, basic resources become abundant and rarely justify the long cooldown of this ability. Since it contributes nothing to combat and has limited usefulness for most players, the Musk Ox is best placed in Tier C.
Cave Hyena
Cave Hyena Grants a short boost to construction speed
Builder's Aide
Builder's Aide
Skill Effect: Skilled Hyenas adeptly deliver tools to the architect, increasing Construction Speed by 5.00% / 7.00% / 9.00% / 12.00% / 15.00% for 5 minutes.
Cooldown: 23:00:00
Although it provides a temporary construction speed boost, the effect lasts only 5 minutes and has a long cooldown, making the Cave Hyena one of the least impactful pets in the game. As construction becomes less relevant in mid to late game, this pet quickly loses all utility. For this reason, it is categorized as Tier C.
